Well of Stars Update: Godhead
Deren and Klekless stumble into the Aztec-like Lithonian empire. When violence erupts, things take a turn for the strange.The other warriors jumped backwards with sibilant cries. Then as one they dropped to the ground and began bowing to Klekless with arms extended.
Klekless kept his arms extended, but no other warriors came forward. They continued to chant "Wetzylcoatl" and bow over and over.
"What just happened?" asked Deren, lowering his sword cane uncertainly.
"I think," said Klekless, "I've just ascended into their pantheon."
